Can I reserve a seat?

Balcony seats can be reserved, but seats in the stalls are all unallocated. If you make an online booking, we will reserve seats for you. If you want to specify your seat location, give us a call on 017687 72195.

Do I have to book online/in advance?

No, you can also purchase your ticket at the Alhambra at the time of the film, or in advance from the box office when we are open, or from the Keswick Tourist Information Office. It is a good idea to buy in advance for very popular films and for some of our live Special Events, but most of the time we have plenty of seats available.

Why can’t I buy tickets for some films?

On Sunday nights we rent the Alhambra out to the Keswick Film Club. While you can see the films on our What’s On pages, the Film Club can’t yet take online bookings. You can be confident you will get a seat if you just show up on the night.

What is there to eat and drink?

We provide free tea and filter coffee, and sell a range of very reasonably-priced soft drinks, water, confectionary, popcorn and Lakeland ice-cream.

Are you wheelchair accessible?

Yes, for downstairs (in the stalls), with an accessible toilet also.

Do you have audio induction loop installed?

Yes

How do the E-tickets work?

Once you have booked your ticket, you will receive a confirmation email and a reminder email on the date of the screening, which will include a copy of your e-ticket. You can print this out, or just use your phone or tablet to present it at the box office. You can book tickets for as many people as you want: just forward them the confirmation email for them to present at the gate. You do not need to show the credit card you used to make the booking when you arrive at the cinema. Online bookings incur a charge of 60p per ticket to cover transaction costs.

I didn’t get my e-ticket!

Make sure you entered/are checking the correct email address. If you may have entered the wrong email address, call us on 017687 72195 (leave a message with your name and phone number, and which film/time you booked), or send the same information via our Contact page, and we ought to be able to establish whether you have indeed made the purchase. If you’re on our list, we’ll let you know and let you in!

Cancellations/returns

Contact us as soon as possible to explain the circumstances if you have made a booking and need to cancel. We may be able to offer you another screening time, or, in certain circumstances and with enough notice, a refund.

Are my credit/debit card details secure?

Our ticket booking system is run by usheru, who connect you to Stripe, which is a 100% secure payment platform that processes your online booking – they are the best in the business at card protection. Neither the Keswick Alhambra nor Usheru receives any of your credit card information, only your name and email address.

Will my data be secure?

Yes, we value your privacy and will not pass on your data.
