TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. You acknowledge that by purchasing tickets using the Keswick Alhambra website you agree to the following terms and conditions, last updated 1 September 2021, and which may be amended from time to time: you will be bound only to the version of the Terms & Conditions you agree to at the time you make your purchase.
2. PURCHASE OF A TICKET
2.1. You can purchase a ticket online simply with your email address, but if you want to buy a "Friend of the Alhambra" membership you will need to register yoiur email and other contact details and create a password to open your account.
2.2. By clicking on the “Pay Now” button you submit an offer to purchase. The purchase is not complete until you receive an email from the Keswick Alhambra confirming your booking/e-ticket, which forms the contract between you and the Keswick Alhambra. The Alhambra reserves the right to cancel the contract at any time if it reasonably suspects that you have committed, or may be committing, any fraud.
2.3. The Alhambra will store user account (your name and email) and purchase information in order to provide users with the best possible service. Your data is held by Veezi (our web service provider), but they will not contact you. We may contact you using the email you provided, but you will be able to unsubscribe from any communications from us.
2.4. The price of any e-ticket will be as quoted on the website, except in case of obvious error (where a mistake on the website could reasonably have been recognized by you as a mispricing), in which case we reserve the right to cancel the booking and issue you a refund.
2.5. Entry to the screenings will be at the discretion of the management. Ticket holders’ age must correspond to the official rating from the British Board of Film Classification of the film.
3. SPECIAL OFFERS
3.1. Any special offers will be for a specific screening and a specific time as stated on the offer. In order to redeem the offer you must present it at least 10 minutes before the specified screening time.
3.2. If we are for any reason not in the position to supply or provide the goods or services outlined in the offer we will notify you by email as soon as possible, and either offer an alternative, or a refund of the purchase price.
4. USER RESPONSIBILITY
4.1. You should provide true, complete and accurate information, including payment details.
4.2. Any ticket purchase is for your non-commercial, personal use only. You may give the ticket to someone else for their non-commercial, personal use, but you may not reproduce or resell it for profit.
4.3. You promise not to engage in any unlawful activity in connection with the purchase or allow anyone else to do so.
5. CANCELLATION / REFUNDS
5.1. If you have purchased a ticket, you are not entitled to cancel your purchase. We do not give refunds except in instances where we have to cancel a screening that you have booked.
If you have booked tickets and then find that you are unable to attend, please contact the cinema and explain the circumstances as early as possible before your booked event or film. Without any obligation the Keswick Alhambra team will seek to swap your booking to an alternative event or film, but only if you are able to give us sufficient notice to do so.
6. DATA AND PRIVACY
6.1 If you make a purchase on our website, or apply to join our mailing list, we will collect the information we need to fulfil your order and notify you of the status of your order (generally just email address and name). In the case of online ticket or voucher purchase, your information will also be held by our web provider Veezi, who have confirmed to us they are fully GDPR compliant.
6.2 If you become a Friend of the Alhambra and/or join our weekly email list, we collect the information we need to open, administer and run the mailing list, which is run on Mail Chimp, who are also fully GDPR compliant.
6.3 We use Google Analytics to track and report website traffic, which is also fully GDPR compliant.
6.4 We are participating in the NHS Track and Trace scheme to help prevent the spread of coronavirus. Under the terms of this scheme we will, for a period of up to 21 days after the screening you attended, share your contact information with NHS Test and Trace if it is specifically requested by them (for example, if another customer at the same screening reported symptoms and subsequently tested positive.)
6.5 With the exception of 6.4 above, we do not pass your data on to anyone else. Veezi will not pass on your data to anyone else or contact you. We use the details you have given us to: carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and the Alhambra; notify you of changes to our goods and services; pass on Alhambra news/upcoming events, and, via our sales logs, Mailchimp and Google analytics, understand what you buy from us and how you use our services.
6.6 You can unsubscribe from our Mailchimp email list at any point via the links in every email, and/or ask us to delete, modify or update your registered details at any time. 7. FRIEND OF THE ALHAMBRA MEMBERSHIP SCHEME
7.1 Friend of the Alhambra membership lasts 365 days from purchase. The two complimentary tickets are for standard films (not special live or event screenings), and are not redeemable against all films: sometimes film distributors restrict the 'free list' during the first weeks of a film's release.
